Nature conservation
LEARN THE NATURE PROTECTION PROJECTS THAT WE SUPPORT WITH YOUR HELP.
Project: Leatherback Turtles
The long-term goal of mySauria is to work as closely as possible with conservationists and biologists directly on site and to support them in their work.
The first project for this was quickly found: the turtle station Tierra Colorada in Mexico. Timo completed an internship here in 2017 and was able to convince himself of the valuable work that biologists do here. In Tierra Colorada, 3 different species of sea turtles are protected, among them the highly endangered leatherback turtle.
Therefore, it was a pleasure to help this project with much-needed materials, which was made possible thanks to your purchase at mySauria.
This video shows our subsequent visit to the turtle station.
Project: San Juan Reserve
We are currently supporting a rainforest project in Colombia in which, in addition to endangered reptiles and amphibians, the Liszt monkeys also have one of their last retreat slacks. Learn more about the nature reserve HERE.

Project: Sea Turtles
If we are unable to get donations to the door of the sanctuary, we will transfer the money to seeturtles.org, who are doing a great job of protecting turtles on the beaches of Central America.

Project: Togo Volta Hills
Your donations have protected an endangered rainforest area in the Togo-Volta Hills in Ghana. Here live chameleons, king pythons and many other endangered reptiles and amphibians. With the purchases at mySauria we were able to help protect 1,729 m2 of rainforest. Get to know the project HERE.
